We are a young, lively and active family of 4 with 2 lovely, bubbly and playful girls who are 5 and 3. Paul works full time as a Business Manager, and I currently work part time as a Financial Advisor and we would love to welcome our 3rd AuPair to come and live with us and help to mind the girls on the days that I work. Charlotte is in school 5 days a week from 8.30am to 1.30pm and Alison attends Montessori from 9 to 12, 3 days per week (this will be 5 mornings a week from Sept). We are also expecting a new addition to our family in September and the girls are very excited about their new brother or sister!

I'm fairly flexible, this is my first time looking at au pairs so I feel 3 mths rather than 6 would be best, I am however open to someone staying longer should we get on.

Hi, both my husband and I are primary school teachers and home by 3.30pm every day. We have 3 children, 2 girls; 22 months 3yrs and a boy; 4 months. We live in the country about 15 mins drive from Gorey which is a town with bars, restaurants, shops, gym, train and bus service. We are 3 km from the beach and forest. Gorey is only an hours drive from Dublin. We are both very active and enjoy sports and being out and about. We both come from large families, all living close by. We would love someone to look after the children but feel part of the family.

    Message to Au Pairs

If you were to be our au pair you would be taking care of the girls 35 hrs per week and one night babysitting. My partner works four twelve hour shifts per week two over night and two during the day which the days rotate week to week. I work 5 days per week on a roster basis so my days are different every week. You would have to work some weekends. You would know a week or two in advance of your hours to mind the girls. Some weeks you would have more than two days off but you would still get paid the same amount. We wouldnt expect much housework only clearing up after the girls (meal dishes and clearing of toys and hovering floor) there would be meal preparation for the girls and playing with them while keeping them from harms way ( they can be little climbers). You must have a good level of English. It is an easy going household and we are not looking for a housekeeper we just want someone to take great care of our girls as if they were your own and you will have plenty of free time to enjoy your stay in Dublin. In exchange you will have your own bedroom with Tv and wifi and pocket money. You can live in or live out. We look forward to hearing from you.
